The scope session is not enabled.

I struggled with an application.cfc that was not giving me a session scope. I was wrongly putting

<cfset this.name = "appname">
<cfset this.sessionmanagement = "yes">

inside of the function onApplicationStart.

Those settings have to be inside of just the component tag as

<cfcomponent disp...

  <cfset this.nam...

    <cffunction name="onApplicationStart" ...

Once I changed it, everything went better than expected.

Reduce the prison population.  Stop the imprisonment of non-violent marijuana offenders.

As Moments End

I imagine people at the end of their lives are shaking their head and thinking 'I thought there would be more time.'

I have been given unique opportunities to have special time alone and with each of my children.  Sometimes an hour, sometimes a day, recently weeks.  Before the time starts I have grand schemes and plans for how we will spend our time.

Yet, as moments end, I am caught perplexed at the briefness of it all.  Beyond the cliches and the standards, I shudder at how quickly things are over.

Because of these feelings, I do not want to move to another house or put in more hours at work or make my manicured lawn the nicest on the block.  Instead, I want to sit where my children are sitting, be where my wife is, and experience our moments together.  This is my satisfaction.

Beginning the end

I am off sick from work today.  This post serves as proof that tomorrow there will be a talk.  The talk will be about extra hours and effort.

Sinus and Pain - Sudafed

What a difference a drug makes.  The troube with taking sudafed is how I have to caffienate myself all day to counteract the drowsiness.

So today was four cups of coffee in the morning and five hour energy in the afternoon.

I would write more but I think everything just wore off at the same time.

Disillusioned

I think I have this.  Or that is, I think I am becoming this.
